PROJECT MANAGER

June 2018 - Present

  • Working on strategy to make optimum use of resources to get the best possible output in terms of reach and impact we had on the people we were working with. 

  • Reviewed the curriculum created as well as conducted sessions for Physical Education Teachers during multiple workshops to help improve the quality of Physical Education in Government Schools in the state of Gujarat. 

  • Working closely with a sports organization to help in their strategy and implementation of their projects. 

  • Conducted sessions on Sports in schools with Physical Education teachers. 

  • Worked on research on various topics to help improve our curriculum, ways of implementation as well as research on policies that can be leveraged to implement sports in schools in India. 

  • Responsible for internal as well as external communications. In addition to this, I am also running  the Social Media and worked on the Website upgrade. 

  • In addition to the above, I am aspects involved in such as HR, vendor management and accounts  of the organization.

GANDHI FELLOWSHIP

July 2016 – May 2018

  • Created a curriculum booklet to be used in 800 Schools of Bageshwar District in Uttarakhand. This curriculum booklet was created to use sports for Life Skill development and foster gender equality among children.

  • With an aim to give the budding writer in every child a platform and bridge the gap of the lack of books in schools, I worked on an initiative to encourage children from the school itself to tell their own story, are put together to form a book.

  • Met with the Union Minister of India for Human Resource Development, Mr. Prakash Javadekar, to discuss education reforms.

  • Met the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and explained the work we were doing in education in Uttarakhand.

  • Worked with teachers in schools to establish Libraries and learning corners. Also worked on the capacity building of teachers to implement new and innovative techniques of teaching.

  • Created the first official UFC fan club in India, UFC Octagon.

  • Live tweeted and posted from the Event.

  • Successfully ran contests for UFC Octagon.

o NBA:

  • Live tweeted for NBA All-Stars 2016 and NBA Around the Hoop, India’s first

o Football:

  • Live tweeting for important games.

  • Pressed hard to drive viewership to Serie A.

  • Ran campaigns such as Battle of Turin to create a build up for important games.

o Apart from the above, I also covered sports such as Cricket, Tennis and Wrestling (TNA).
NBA:

  • Live Chat with NBA Stars Robin Lopez and Seth Curry.

  • Coordinated on the Live Twitter Ticker for important games.

  • A copy was selected for one of the best uses of #ThisIsWhyWePlay.

  • Live posting of videos for games, especially for NBA Playoffs and NBA Finals.

  • Also ran campaigns for important events such as Kobe Bryant’s Retirement and Stephen

  • Curry’s Birthday.

IPL:

  • Worked on the campaign for IPL 2016: #EkIndiaHappyWala.

  • Was instrumental in the successful running of contests such as Happy XI, Happywala Selfie

  • and Happy Headline.

  • Worked on the microsite to promote the theme of the event.
